Our firm has been in business since Jesse W. Wessinger established the first architectural firm in Lexington County in 1929. He was joined in 1959 by John Drafts (Wessinger & Drafts) and in 1970 by Craig Jumper (Drafts & Jumper Architects).

In 1991, Joel M. Carter and L. Todd Sease became principals and began to work towards strengthening our historic foundation through a continued focus on client relations and collaborative design practices. In the last ten years, Jumper Carter Sease Architects has increased in size through a steady workload increase and through the addition of young talented professionals who are enthusiastically committed to furthering our firm’s mission and growth.
